I find it hard to discern if you ask about courses to take in college or if courses are you have taken while in high school or … without having graduated from college, but having taken these courses. Because of this confusion, I apologize if I make false assumptions that make my view unnecessary. In general, anyone can call themselves a counselor "or" therapist "And charge for these services. few words are protected by law, and by far the most important is "psychologist" (winning the title of this requires a doctorate in psychology, and a "registered psychologist" must pass a national examination or state). So, technically, anyone – including a 7 grader and etc. – may themselves call an "advisor" that the title itself has no legal significance. If you are looking to become an adviser of a certain quality, however, I suggest that if these courses are an excellent point of departure, it is imperative to obtain some form of control … which can often be found through internships, etc.. I also suggest that obtaining at least a bachelor's degree in psychology can be very important, you will benefit many more opportunities in the field of psychology. I want to emphasize that the courses are not the same as the real world experience and the only sure way to gain that experience is by getting professional coaching from a licensed professional. is, good luck to yourself. If you have more questions in this area, please do not hesitate to contact me and I will do my best to clarify.
