Anger Management Services
I'm looking for better jobs. I have a BA in psychology and I am unable to even get an interview. Help!?

I have a bachelor's degree in psychology, received honors, worked in the field of social services / counseling to 6 + years. I worked with developmental disabilities, anger management clients, clients of sex offenders, clients of substance abuse, adolescents with emotional and behavioral disorders. I also almost have my bachelor's degree in education, a provisional teaching certificate. Yet I can not even get an interview for the job, I am more than qualified. I am very accurate, my resume is good, all the "i" dotted and the T "" Crusaders, etc. When I managed to get an interview, I am ready with the specifics of the job and the company, I said my good points and do that as something bad points, as I tend to be perfectionist or work-a-holic, rather than going to the real and about my bad points. I have good references, I look and act professional. I am very efficient and hardworking. However, I am 48 years Female. Broke divorce. Help! I'm looking for a better job.

If you're ready to set foot in the door somewhere, you ought try to go to a temp agency. People think that these organizations are taboo and that you will not make much money, but people do get account that you decide to work somewhere or not, and you do so at your salary needs. I hired a couple of times through an agency which made $ per hour with 32-40/per agency. The chance that you have is that you will find employment in different places and meet your future colleagues. If you do not like the environment, you can simply ask the agency to place you elsewhere. When you find a company that suits you best, keep your eyes open for job openings. When employers have vacancies, and they know your work ethic and behavior, you have an advantage over the CV-drops. Good luck and keep trying!
