Teaching Children Self Control

Why are parents responsible for their fast food child obesity?
I agree that fast food is unhealthy and when are consumed in excess can cause weight gain. However, I do not understand why parents want to boycott and petition for vending machines to be taken out of schools and places like McDonalds to be arrested simply because they as parents do not control what their children eat. If parents teach their children some self-control, then maybe their children would not be so great at such a young age. Better yet, if parents to cooking at home rather than always buy their fast food Kid, then their child would not be so bad. Basically, children should undergo further (no vending machines at school, no fast food places, etc.) because of some overweight children are this way because of lack of parenting? Note: Im 22 and the day only hope of having children. However, when I have children, I prefer simply limit their consumption of fast food rather than trying to boycott and industry.
I totally agree. Parents are 100% responsible for their obese children. Children can not groceries, cooking, or driving through lines … it is the parents who do these things to their own children.
