Child Learning Studies
What current methods are in place to work with children with learning difficulties in school?

For my courses College, I am meeting the criteria to answer these points: 8. Understanding the current working methods with a child with learning difficulties. 8.1. Analyzing the teaching and learning needs of a child through a case study. I have no idea where to start with this, please help!

Hiya I am an LSA help children to school, I worked in the Main Stream Schools special and I am now Home schooling my son with autism. There are 5 stages of schooling a child with special needs addtional; 1. Recognition of the Child being different from their peers the same age group, either by the teacher, parent or a medical diagnosis. This is done by online Assesments base if the child is just starting school Key Stage 1 (age of child) 2. The school or primary care base are invited to build evidence of the child needs, it can be done through observation format ABC Action B = C = Consequences beghaviour Proof is evdience parents and all staff involved writing a pen portrait of the child and their needs. 3. A meeting will be held with the school needs SEN CO Special Coordinator. They will decide what should be done next. Some children have an IEP = Individual Education Plan. This gives them more targets than the national program so they work on small targets achieveavle until they can catch up with their peers. 4. If it estimated that this does not correct the child or other professionals will be invited to Assesments. Perhaps many outside agencies, but will always Pschologist and education and a doctor. It may also incude Theropist Speeches, etc., and even the protection Child social worker or social worker. 5. Based in Ontario, it recomendation of school professionals will apply to the Local Education Authority (LEA) for a statement of special needs. A statement Satatoury special educational needs. Complide is essentially a statement of the LEA to describe strengths and weakness of the child's needs. It will be done and when the pin where children need extra help learning Supoort Assistant (LSA) and how many hours per week of child support received. This means that the child will receive specialized care for their individual needs at times of the school day. They will work suited to their learning ability. Declaration comments are made each year with the same process as No. 5 to re-evaluate the child's needs and requirements of the course. Regarding learning rates the child will be encouraged to participate as fully as possible in relation to the national program. For SAT, the child would have a reader and a writer for help during testing. They are on many levels assesd work then P is 1, 2, 3 for key stage 1 SAT. Key stage 2 would be the level 3,4 and 5, but divided in 5a, 5b, 5c with GCSEs, the child would have the same support during exams and courses. If the child is unable to obtain an F level in a subject they may obtain credits for winning a prize ASDAn. This is widely used in special schools. Then the children were credited with attention activities and expressed interest. This is appropriate to their learning and pyshical abilities.etc Hope this helps. K
