Child Learning Strengths

Child Learning Strengths
Is it possible to develop new skills at expert level once the speed of learning children are more?

Children especially infants, are going crazy myelin in their brains that promote rapid learning. As we age, our ability to learn slows and increases memory. So, is it possible to develop an entirely new skill set developed expertise long after this period youth? I mean, we all have strengths and glaring weaknesses, which makes certain tasks easier and others almost impossible. For example, one could be highly qualified in math calculations, but could not play a chord on the guitar to save his life. So what happens in life crisis, people-mi and young college students confused about majors, when their interests go beyond their skills to perform well? What happens if the prodigy mathematics is to become a musician? Can he ever get there, or is he just screwed? Also, what is the face of myelin? Why should we attribute to Child super-brains, but quit later? What if a drug supercharged myelination even for adults to learn?

Learning continues until death (perhaps after) if you are not sick (memory loss is not normal). People changing careers and learn new things well in their elderly years. (BTW, there is no mid-life crisis, an error). We now know that brain is not done developing until the early 20s …. and that there is a growth of neurons in the brain throughout life. (Something that we do not believe 20 years ago). We see this after brain damage … the brain has "plasticity". What you bother learning things later in life is not so much the brain, but the body …. we see sporting career peaked in the early 30, 20 violinists, etc. … Musicians need for speed and finger control (remember ridge 20 )…. not to say you can not do, simply ever, at your peak. Myelinated neurons continue to be … is how they work … you do not see the ramification that occurs early …. you see the size, more efficient … adults respond faster than children (more) (Psych college.
