Education is the most important issue for the hearing impaired. Generation deaf children have been and continue to be "educated" in a system controlled by people who are not deaf and focusing on deafness as a defect that must be corrected. The system tries to educate them using a language (English) that they do not know fluently and can not get full. These generations of deaf children born to poor English skills, education, lack general knowledge, and low self-esteem.
