Teaching Children Leadership Skills

Teaching Children Leadership Skills
Is this how you write a letter? or should I say?

Dear To whom it may: I particularly Your frozen yogurt and gelato and you saw advertised for help wanted. I am very interested in applying for the position. Once I do volunteer work at this place in XXX, and I help kids decorate their arts and crafts for Christmas. This is my experience working with children and other volunteers. When I was in 8th grade, I join this club called "XXX" which is a room climbing. This taught me leadership skills and relied on each other. Thank you for your time reading this letter and I am looking forward to A-to-face interview. Sincerely,

For a letter of motivation, not bad. I'll give you some credit. It could be better, but it a good place to start. "Dear to whom it may concern" is not all good though. Choose one or the other, "Dear" or "To whom it may concern." Generally, in a letter "To Whom" is not good, so I stick with "Dear" and I usually go with "Dear Rental Manager" unless you know the name of the person doing the hiring. If you know their name, including instead. Nothing shows better than taking out of your way to find the right person to answer your letter of motivation. You said the word "including" which is a good word, but it does not make sense to use something without comparing it to. Sometimes, and especially:) in the letters, less is more. Grammar and spelling are absolutely crucial for a letter. In general, avoid contractions (you're, can not, etc.) and your words will have a clearer sense. Furthermore, "your" is possessive, and "you" is "you". Also, never use punctuation instead of words. "&" Is never good in any type of writing, unless it is part of a title company. Check the spelling of "gelato". It could be good, but my computer is complaining about the spelling. It is a foreign word, but then maybe not in an English dictionary. Also, what is the job title they are looking to fill? You always want to reference in the letter. Something else keep in mind is that you generally want to give the employer the impression that they are the one who makes the decisions. Let them decide if an interview face-to-face is appropriate, but do not hesitate to encourage them to take this decision in your favor. I'd probably refine it as follows, and I will throw in some XXXX for more details I do not know that you need to complete: Dear Hiring Manager I saw that you advertise that you are looking for help. I'm really interested in applying for this job because I love you XXXX frozen yogurt and gelato, and I want to be able to share my enthusiasm for your product with your customers. In XXXX, I offered to XXXX, where I helped the children decorate their Christmas arts and crafts. It gave me great experience working with all kinds of children and other volunteers. In 8th grade, I joined a club called "XXX" which is an indoor climbing facility. This taught me both the leadership and spirit team. I appreciate the time you took to read this letter and I look forward to hearing from you soon to discuss this possibility. Sincerely,
